Although Leland River Cottage rates are subject to change, they generally vary by season: summer $975.00 per day, spring and fall 675.00 per day and winter $375.00 per day. Saturday to Saturday rentals are preferred.

Relaxing stay on the Leland River. Great location to beaches, wineries, and Fishtown. Everything you need for a great vacation in Northern Michigan. This was our third time staying here and each time has been very enjoyable. Always look forward to returning.

Very comfortable house within easy walking distance of the center of Leland. But especially wonderful to sit on the back lawn along the river and watch the boats travel up and down. Kids can play in the water off the dock. Absolutely wonderful place to spend a summer vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this home on the Leland River! The house was extremely clean, organized and welcoming! We loved the access to the river and the short walk to town.

The property is exactly as described in the listing - a 4-bedroom house on the short river that joins Lake Leelanau with Lake Michigan. It is in good shape, with a cozy, cottage vibe; the grounds were in excellent shape, with a mowed lawn, freshly planted flowers (in mid-June), and no weeds to be seen. The town of Leland is a ten-minute walk away, as is Van's Beach on Lake Michigan. (Unfortunately, there were a lot of dead alewives stinking up the Lake Michigan beach while we were there - unpleasant, but just something that occasionally happens.) We were up there for four nights - five adults and a two-year old - and we had a very relaxing time, which is just what we were lookng for.

We stayed at this cute cottage for a long weekend with friends and had a great stay! The house was what we expected. We were all very comfortable and loved the view! It’s very simple with no frills. We didn’t need much because we were exploring the area. We would recommend this place for the view and location alone!

Second time staying at the river cottage. Just as good as the first! Everything we needed for an enjoyable week in Northern Michigan. We rented a SUP from Harbor House and enjoyed relaxing paddles up and down the river. Also toured the wineries and enjoyed the beach and shopping in town. Great location and relaxing setting on the river.

Lovely cottage on the river. The Family times we spent there was very special. Don’t forget to bring a boat, kayak or a bicycle, if you are interested in these activities. We had a hard time renting.

This is our third year at the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our children love hanging out on the dock, swimming, playing football in the big yard and having their own bedrooms upstairs. The house is extremely well-maintained and the beautiful kitchen is easy to use. We prepared many meals to be shared outside at the picnic table. We love walking into Fishtown, hitting Nedows and Vans beaches and walking around the lovely neighborhood. Canoeing on Platte River, visiting the sand dunes, day-tripping to South Manitou and visiting nearby Sutton’s Bay, Northport and Glen Arbor are yearly traditions. Thank you, Noonans, for letting us enjoy up north and your lovely home.

This is our fifth year staying at this charming riverfront property perfectly situated in Leland, Michigan. The open floor plan is made for memorable family gatherings. The grounds are reminiscent of an English country garden and all within an easy walk of several restaurants, the 'Merc' (local grocery store), Fishtown and local shops. The new dock easily accommodates our boat for quick getaways on Lake Leelanau. The owner's pride shines throughout this beautiful property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. The location is a perfect distance for walking into town. The house was very clean and comfortable,. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved the backyard with the new Adirondack chairs and the beautiful plantings around the property. The new dock was a plus as we had rent a pontoon for our stay.

WE had a great time in Leland. The house was great and fully stocked. Hope to return next year.

Great little home right on the river. There was a bit of snow that fell the weekend we stayed and the view out the back window overlooking the river was gorgeous.

One of our favorite areas- beautiful water everywhere! The house was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and well equipped. Would love it even more if it offered kayaks! Absolutely wonderful place though. So glad it was shared with us for our short stay.

We had a fabulous week at Leland River Cottage enjoying the house in easy walking distance of downtown Leland, Fishtown & restaurants. Loved being right on the river to swim, kayak & watch boats pass by. Bed & furniture were so comfortable & house was super clean. We will certainly be back!

Lovely home in a great location, with a beautiful view of the river. My daughter really enjoyed the ducks in the back yard, even in January.

The house was very clean with plenty of room and in a great location. We enjoyed the Leelanau peninsula with short drives to many shops and a lot of wine tasting! My wife and I will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed at the cottage for a week with our kids and it was amazing. The location could not be better and being on the river is so peaceful. We easily walked into town and enjoyed the beauty of the area. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean.

The Leland River Cottage location is fantastic! The river leads to Lake Leelanau and you can walk through the water from the dock to the lake. Our little one enjoyed looking out the big living room window and watching the boats filled with people go up and down the river. Bob and Cathy were responsive to all our questions and we highly recommend the Leland River Cottage!!

Cathy and Robert’s cottage is charming and comfortable and in the perfect location. We were a group of 5 and it easily accommodated us with room to spare. It was clean and filled with all of the necessities. Next time we visit Leland we will surely plan to stay in this cottage.

The River Cottage never disappoints. This is our second family fall getaway at River house and it felt like coming home. Our son eschews the ipad in the morning to go out and sit on the dock to watch the waves go by. A modern miracle of sorts. We visited Northport Lighthouse and also the Keep at the top of Sutton’s Bay. We hiked Houdek Dunes and Clay Cliffs again this year. We, of course, made the Sleeping Bear Dune climb and drove the beautiful Pierce Stocking Drive. Our dinners at the Cove, the Riverside and the Bluebird were all delightful. We walked to dinner every night. Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise. We love our family time here.

Coffee and kayaks! What a little slice of heaven! Crisp sheets and firm mattresses. All clean, clean, clean! Open kitchen dining and living spaces are wonderful for family gatherings. Stroll to downtown and Fishtown. Splash in the river and rent a boat – the fun doesn’t end! Well worth the value!

As soon as we arrived, we took-in the fresh pine smell. We relaxed, laughed and enjoyed this wonderfully clean cottage; it absolutely sparkles! We loved strolling into town, watching the waterfowl and sampling wine at the many local wineries (so many are close by), playing games and enjoying each other’s company. To top it all off, a Chubby Mary at the Cove can’t be beat! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
